The Feldenkrais® method works

Yoga, Tai Chi and Qigong: just some of the great Eastern exercise and meditation traditions that have found a firm foothold here in the West. A beneficial effect on the mind is one reason for their popularity, achieved by consciously perceiving, constantly refining movement sequences – or put simply, based on the exciting experience of learning. Expansion of consciousness was also the aim of the founder of the Feldenkrais® method, Moshé Feldenkrais. His eponymous method is not as well known as Yoga, yet the Feldenkrais® exercises are at least as effective and relaxing, yielding impressive results in both the prevention and the treatment of all types of pain.
